Outreach Coordinator Grizelle
AugusteE-mail: grizellea@baptisthealth.net Grizelle “Gigi” Auguste is the outreach coordinator for UHZ Sports Medicine Institute at Doctors Hospital. She has 14 years of professional experience as an athletic trainer in the clinical, collegiate, professional and international settings. After earning her bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport sciences from the University of Florida, Gigi worked as a clinical athletic trainer at UHZ for two years. She then returned to graduate school to earn her master’s degree in sports management from Florida International University. While at FIU, Gigi traveled with several youth national teams for the United States Soccer Federation, which led to her position as head athletic trainer for the Project 40 soccer venture, the 2000 and 2008 U.S. Olympic women’s soccer team and the 2007 U.S. FIFA Women’s World Cup team. Gigi also served as head athletic trainer at Florida International University for six years, where her primary sport coverage was men’s basketball. She continues to be an adjunct professor in athletic training at FIU. She is a member of the Sports Advisory Council for Advocare, a premier health and wellness company. |
