Mr. Pinero has a bachelor’s degree in health education from Florida International University and a master’s in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida. Before joining UHZ Sports Medicine Institute, he worked in pain management and at an orthopedic and rehabilitation center.

Mr. Vina earned his physician assistant associate’s degree from Miami Dade College. He trained as a surgical assistant and surgical technologist while in the U.S. Air Force and has worked at various hospitals around the country.
